We would like to invite you to an internal best practice workshop on „DATA handling" on Monday, 10 February 2025 from 10-12 am.
Programme:
- Welcome address by Peter Benner
- 4 - 5 x 10-minute best practice presentations
- World Café on questions around "DATA handling"
- Short Wrap Up + Coffee
After the presentations, we will discuss key points in the World Café session in small groups.
We look forward to broad participation from different groups and perspectives: lab technicians, group data officers, PhD students, postdocs, group leaders — everyone is welcome, and no registration is needed!
Call for action: We are looking for 4-5 speakers. Here are some ideas for possible best practice/hands-on topics:
- Data management plan: How can we specifically fulfill the DFG's requirements? What were the biggest challenges?
- File storage: How and where do we store our data? Who do we share it with and how do we find it again?
- Labfolder: How do we structure a labbook for one specific project? Entries, templates, co-working, integration of measurement data, etc.
- FAIR Data: How to create a specific FAIR data set? What does it look like?
- Feel free to share further best practices!
